QTicket

Manchester Founding Pilot Terms

Last updated: 6 October 2026

The Founding Pilot allows a participating business to use QTicket in a live business environment before deciding whether to continue with a paid subscription.

1. Pilot period

The pilot lasts for 30 days from the agreed activation date.

2. Software fee

QTicket software is provided at £0 for the 30-day pilot period.

There is no automatic conversion to a paid subscription and no recurring QTicket software charge will begin unless the customer and QTICKET LTD explicitly agree to continue.

3. Hardware

Hardware and installation are separate from the free software pilot. Any equipment to be supplied by QTICKET LTD, its ownership and its price will be agreed before purchase.

If the customer already has compatible hardware, the parties may agree to use it instead.

4. Messaging

SMS, WhatsApp or other messaging usage is not included in the free software pilot unless expressly agreed. Messaging may be charged at actual or otherwise agreed usage cost.

Messaging will only be enabled when the required technical, sender and compliance setup is ready.

5. Pilot functionality

The pilot may include customer kiosk check-in, service selection, specific staff or Next available selection, approximate waiting time, live staff queue, manual customer notification, calling, public display, service start and completion, business portal access and agreed pilot support.

6. Queue estimates and notifications

Waiting times are approximate and are not guaranteed appointment times. They may change with queue activity, service duration, staff availability and customer preference.

Waiting-time estimates and customer notifications are separate. An estimate does not automatically notify a customer that they are ready to be served.

7. Customer responsibilities

The participating business agrees to use QTicket for legitimate business purposes, keep staff access appropriately controlled, use messaging lawfully, provide reasonable pilot feedback and promptly report material problems.

8. Data protection

The participating business remains responsible for determining the lawful purposes for which it collects and uses its customers' personal information.

QTICKET LTD will process customer queue information on behalf of the participating business where QTICKET LTD acts as processor, subject to the applicable privacy and data processing terms.

9. Pilot changes and support

Because this is a founding pilot, QTicket may make reasonable fixes and improvements during the pilot. Changes will not intentionally alter or delete the customer's live queue data.

10. After 30 days

Before the pilot ends, QTICKET LTD and the customer may review whether QTicket should continue. Any ongoing subscription, pricing, messaging or additional services must be explicitly agreed by both parties.

If the parties do not agree to continue, no paid QTicket subscription starts automatically.

11. Ending the pilot early

Either party may end the pilot early for a serious operational, security, legal or commercial reason. The parties should cooperate reasonably to avoid disruption to an active customer queue.

12. No guarantee of business results

QTicket is intended to improve the management of walk-in queues but does not guarantee increased revenue, customer numbers or specific waiting-time reductions.

13. Governing law

The pilot is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
