QTicket

Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 October 2026

These Terms govern business use of QTicket, a walk-in queue management service provided by QTICKET LTD. They are intended for business customers and do not create a consumer subscription between QTICKET LTD and a person joining a customer's queue.

1. The service

QTicket may provide customer kiosk check-in, live queue management, staff access, estimated waiting times, customer notifications, public queue displays, business administration, device management and related reporting.

Features may vary according to the agreed plan, configuration and availability.

2. Customer accounts and access

The business customer is responsible for accurate account information, protecting account credentials, managing authorised users and devices, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorised access.

Organisation owners and managers are responsible for the permissions they grant within their organisation.

3. Queue estimates

Waiting times shown by QTicket are estimates only. Actual waiting times can change because of service duration, queue activity, staff availability, customer preference and other operational circumstances.

An estimated waiting time is not an appointment and does not by itself notify or call a customer.

4. Customer notifications

Where messaging is enabled, QTicket may facilitate operational notifications through third-party messaging providers.

The business customer remains responsible for ensuring that messages it instructs QTicket to send are lawful and that any necessary consent or other lawful basis has been obtained. Marketing must remain separate from operational queue messaging unless a specific feature and lawful basis support it.

5. Acceptable use

The customer must not use QTicket unlawfully, send spam or unlawful marketing, process information it has no right to process, attempt to access another customer's data, or interfere with the security or operation of QTicket.

6. Fees, subscriptions and taxes

Fees are those stated in the applicable order, proposal, subscription or checkout. Unless agreed otherwise, recurring services are billed for the applicable billing period.

Messaging, hardware, installation and other services may be charged separately. Taxes are added where legally applicable.

7. Hardware

If QTicket supplies hardware, the applicable quotation or order will state the equipment, price, ownership, installation and any warranty terms.

Unless otherwise agreed, the customer is responsible for suitable power, network connectivity and a safe physical environment for the equipment.

8. Customer data and data protection

As between QTicket and the customer, the customer retains its rights in data submitted to QTicket on its behalf and authorises QTICKET LTD to process that data as needed to provide the service.

Where QTICKET LTD processes personal information as processor for the customer, the parties will comply with applicable data protection law and the applicable data processing terms.

9. Intellectual property

QTICKET LTD retains its rights in the QTicket software, interfaces, technology, branding, documentation and underlying systems. The customer receives only the right to use the service for the agreed period and purposes.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may make reasonable changes for security, legal, technical or product reasons and will seek to avoid unnecessary disruption.

11. Third-party services

QTicket may depend on third-party hosting, messaging, payment, telecommunications and email services. We are not responsible for failures caused solely by services outside our reasonable control, although we will take reasonable steps to restore or work around affected functionality.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect QTicket or its users, respond to a security incident, prevent unlawful use, comply with law or address a material breach. Where practicable, we will notify the customer.

On termination, access may cease and personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable law, the Privacy Policy and any data processing agreement.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any additional agreed limits, exclusions or commercial liability terms will be set out in the applicable order or service agreement.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
