QTicket is operated by QTICKET LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17503881. This policy explains how personal information is handled when people visit qticket.uk, use a QTicket business account, contact us, or interact with a business using QTicket.
1. Our role
For information relating to our own website, accounts, support, security and commercial relationship, QTICKET LTD may act as data controller.
For customer and queue information processed on behalf of a QTicket business customer, that business will generally act as controller and QTICKET LTD will act as processor.
2. Information we may process
This may include business account details such as name, business email address, organisation, location and role.
Queue information may include a customer's first name, telephone number, selected service, staff preference, ticket number, queue status, timestamps and notification status.
Staff information may include name, role, availability, service compatibility and permitted locations.
We may also process technical and security information such as device identifiers, browser information, IP address, timestamps, diagnostic events and audit records.
Commercial records may include subscription status, billing references and payment status. Payment card details are intended to be handled by our payment provider rather than stored directly by QTicket.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure QTicket, authenticate users, operate live queues, administer organisations, locations, team members and devices, provide support, maintain billing records, investigate incidents, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.
Where we act as processor, we process personal information on documented instructions from the relevant QTicket business customer, subject to applicable law.
4. Legal bases
Where QTICKET LTD acts as controller, processing may rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests such as service security and support, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where consent is required.
5. Queue notifications and marketing
Operational queue messages, such as a message telling a customer that they are next or have been called, are treated separately from promotional marketing.
A customer's agreement to receive an operational queue message is not automatically treated as consent to receive marketing. Businesses using QTicket remain responsible for configuring messaging lawfully and obtaining any consent required for the messages they send.
6. Sharing information
We may use service providers for hosting, database services, email, messaging, payments, security and monitoring. We use providers only where needed to operate QTicket and expect them to protect personal information appropriately.
We do not sell personal information to advertisers.
7. International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, QTicket will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
8. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide QTicket, maintain security, resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations.
Operational queue data is not intended to be retained indefinitely. Specific retention periods may be set in QTicket service documentation, customer configuration or the applicable agreement.
9. Security
QTicket uses technical and organisational measures designed to protect information, including authentication controls, tenant separation, access restrictions, database security policies and controlled administrative access.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
QTicket may use technologies that are strictly necessary for authentication, security and core service operation. If we introduce analytics, advertising or other non-essential technologies that require consent, we will provide the appropriate choice before using them.
11. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, individuals may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability.
If your information was provided to QTicket by a business whose queue you joined, you should normally contact that business first because it will generally be the controller.
You can contact QTICKET LTD at admin@qticket.uk. You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will be published on qticket.uk with its latest update date.
